About Us

Prison Fellowship Scotland (PFS) is a non-denominational, faith-based Christian charity, working in all 15 prisons and the two new Community Custody Units in Scotland. Working in partnership with Prison Chaplaincy our work consists of the following areas:

  • Weekly conversational/bible study groups

  • Restorative Justice/Victim awareness courses

  • Letter Writing programme

  • Angel Tree Christmas Gift programme for the children of men and women in prison.

  • Adventure holidays for children affected by imprisonment

Prison Fellowship Scotland is an organisation that puts relationships at the centre of all we do. We support volunteers from churches in Scotland to make the Good News accessible to those in Scottish prisons.

Stories

“After serving multiple jail sentences as a young offender I was sent to Kilmarnock prison at the age of 21, it was there I first encountered Prison Fellowship. I attended out of curiosity, but the volunteers had a genuine interest in me. The more I went the more I learned about Jesus and how he loved me and died to give me life and so that I could be forgiven.” ~ David York
